Light “L” Category
Refers to light waste materials, e.g. green-waste, wood, plastic, metals, broken furniture, etc, and excludes concrete, brick, soil, rock, sand, tiles or paving stones. Mattresses are permitted. Also refer to Notes 1 & 2 below.
Fill / Concrete “FC” Category
Covers single material bin containing soil or concrete items only, but not mixed, and excludes all other material types. No cement sheet is permitted in concrete only bins.
Fill / Concrete / Brick “FCB” Category
Allowable contents are brick, concrete, rock, soil, sand, tiles or paving stones, and may be mixed together in any quantity when loading the bin, but does not include asphalt or bitumen.
Heavy “H” Category
All material types may be included and mixed in this category other than those listed in note 1 below. Mattresses are NOT permitted.
Note 1
Mandatory exclusions are asbestos, gas cylinders, tyres, liquids (paint or oil), batteries, domestic refuse, toxic waste or any other waste listed by the EPA and Workcover as a Prescribed Waste.
Note 2
Due to a change in the EPA Hazardous Man Made Fibre category, insulation and fibreglass sheet must now be declared as contents within the bin. Inclusion of this material may incur a charge of $55.00 per bin (what the tipping site charge Urban Bins).
